Bartlett’s Blueberry Farm has been a proud supporter of the Granite State Market Match program since 2020.

WHAT IS GRANITE STATE MARKET MATCH?

Granite State Market Match, GSMM, is a NH SNAP incentive program that started in 2012. GSMM is a program of the New Hampshire Food Bank and led by the NH Nutrition Incentive Network. GSMM offers an opportunity to amplify the value of SNAP/EBT benefits for the purchase of fruits and vegetables at select farmers markets, farm stands, and CSAs. Through this program, SNAP recipients can double their benefits or obtain discounts when buying fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds, and seedlings.

WHAT IS THE NH NUTRITION INCENTIVE NETWORK

The NH Nutrition Incentive Network is a statewide collaboration that works to offer SNAP/EBT incentives at farmers markets, farm stands, mobile markets, and independent retailers across the state. The network was established in 2013 with the goal of increasing affordable access to locally grown food. The markets provide customers with a monetary incentive, which matched EBT purchases $1 for $1 with fruit and vegetable vouchers.

WHAT ORGANIZATIONS MAKE UP THE NH NUTRITION INCENTIVE NETWORK?

The NH Nutrition Incentive Network is led by the NH Food Bank in partnership with Seacoast Eat Local, Cheshire County Conservation District, Merrimack County Conservation District and other, independent regional leads across the state. In 2021, the NH Nutrition Incentive Network took on the role of network administrative lead for Double Up Food Bucks, a program that offers a 50% off discount on fresh produce at approximately 20 independent retailers in the state.
