Bartlett’s Blueberry Farm, a 2nd generation small family farm celebrating 34 years in 2018
Thursday July 26, 2018 - Blueberry News
Greetings everyone! We're definitely barreling into the peak of our season right now and our bushes are absolutely loaded with berries. For the remainder of the week we'll be working on our Earliblue and Collins varieties, and moving into Berkley, Bluecrop, and Bluerays for the weekend. In general the outlook for picking conditions remains stellar, and as always we're here 8am - 6pm Tuesday through Sunday rain or shine.
On another note we're calling on all willing volunteers to come help us pick blueberries for the Newport food pantry, on Monday, July 30 from 8am - 3pm. This has been a fantastic event for the past few years, and we're always blown away by how many amazing folks are willing to donate their time and energy to help gather berries for local hungry mouths. Last season we were able to donate 235lbs but know we can do better than that with your help! So please come by the farm anytime between 8am and 3pm to lend a hand!
As always, a huge thank you to all of our valuable customers who have joined us already for the 2018 season!
See you in the patch!
All the best from the Bartletts
