The peak of our season is staring to wane and yet picking conditions remain strong. This weekend we’ll be moving into the Jerseys and Chandlers for the first picking of our later varieties.
With favorable weather, and the popularity of the Chandlers in particular, we are not expecting this variety to be available long so plan on getting here early.
Also a huge thank you is in order for all of our volunteers throughout the day on the 10th who helped pick for the Newport Food Pantry. While we have yet to donate 400lbs in a single day, our volunteers picked an amazing 259.57lbs! Thank You!!
Lastly please keep in mind that we are a seasonal business and that our schedule is entirely dependent on the availability of our crop.
From here through the end of our season our days of operation WILL VARY, (to spite what Google says) so please call ahead or check FaceBook for the latest days and conditions.
Thank you to all of our friends who have shared an amazing season with us thus far!
All the best from,
Bill, Heidi, and Peter Bartlet
